About Vickers Creative
Vickers Creative is the trading name of freelance and independent graphic designer Lee Vickers.
Originally from Bexleyheath, South East London, he holds a HND in Graphic Design from Southampton Institute of Art & Design (now Solent University), and a BA degree in Graphic Communications Management from Napier University, Edinburgh.
Lee worked as an in-house graphic designer from 2003 to 2010 before starting Vickers Creative during the bleak winter of 2010/11. The goal was to create an approachable studio offering high quality, professional graphic design services to businesses based in and around Glasgow, Scotland and the UK at affordable prices.
Apart from a passion for design Lee is also a cyclist; He has been cycling since the early 90s, getting into mountain biking quite early in the UK. More recently road riding and light touring. Lee became accredited to ride the track at Glasgow's Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in January 2013 and uses it regularly.
He has used his contacts within the cycle industry and 20+ years experience as a cyclist to offer a specialist graphic design service to the cycle industry.
